BACKGROUND
The incidence of bullying in Malaysian society, especially in schools and institutions of higher learning has become increasingly rampant. Various cases are reported in the newspaper, and bullying are increasingly serious until some even cause death. The effects of bullying is worrying not only for the bully and the bully victims, but also for parents, schools, institutions of higher learning, medical professionals, academicians and Malaysian society in general.
Therefore, this problem must be thoroughly eradicated in order not to become a cancer that threatens the safety and harmony of the Malaysian society and younger generation who will be the pillars of the nation's prosperity in the future. Efforts to eradicate bullying in calamities require close collaboration of various parties including parents, educators, medical professionals, national intellectuals and various government agencies, institutions of higher learning and non-governmental organizations.

OBJECTIVES
The objectives of organizing this workshop are as follows :
- To provide an introduction to the definition of bullying, bullying types, recognizing bullying characteristics, recognizing bully victims characteristics, bullying statistics and the factors that encourage the occurrence of bullying cases in schools and institutions of higher learning.
- To provide a discussion platform among parents, educators, medical professionals, national intellectuals and various government agencies, higher education institutions and non-governmental organizations to combat and address bullying signs as a whole, especially in schools and institutions of higher learning.
- To produce resolutions in addressing procedures to eradicate bullying once and for all in schools and institutions of higher learning by various parties involved
